It gets worse...
The previous poor workmanship continues as we delve further into this car. The diff mount crossmember bushes were obviously shot and so rather than replace them a couple of bits of steel were welded over the bushings. Obviously pretty pleased with their solution the same method was applied to the driveshaft to hold the UJ in place...
The last picture shows how bent the strut rods are.
