1969 Roadster

Getting your bearings...

Davids 69 was a borderline wheel bearing case. The trailing arm bushes had been replaced with polyurethane but the old shims had been refitted and no hole drilled for the retaining cotter pin, there was also a universal joint that had red rusty powder coming out of it so long overdue replacement.

Here the trialing arms have been removed and rebuilt with new bearings, backing plates and handbrake assemblies. The bushes have been replaced with rubber bushes and new stainless steel alignment shims installed. We also drilled the holes for the retaining cotter pin for the trailing arm shims and installed new U/Js in both half shafts.

We even cleaned out the drain holes in the trailing arm pockets, thats the CK way!
