A sad day for us here. Regular visitors will have met our lovely spaniel, and will know she was the sunshine of our day. Our little girl has suffered with ill health as of late, and we lost her today.
it will be a strange CK without the spaniel fraggling around, anyone that turned up around 11am was subject to her seeking me out and following me around until she got a bit of my sausage roll, or pork pie, or whatever treat I had that day, and as far as she was concerned, Corvette business had to wait, a snack was a pretty big deal in Daisy world. You could set your watch by her.
There was so much throughout the working day that Daisy made better, if things got tricky, or problems were encountered, we could always go to her and have a nuggle, and all these problems seemed to disappear.
Every time I went in to the parts department, where her blankets were, I would have to have a fuss with this little dog, and when I left, she would always come after me for a little bit more, a bit of tickling under the arms, or a million kisses, no matter what, every time I saw her, it was a pleasure.
She is, and always will be a big part of Corvette Kingdom, and it will never be the same without her.
Here she is inspecting the rear bumper of a 69........
And waiting for a treat.....
